Muddy Creek

Here is my take on Norman Blake’s mandolin part for Muddy Creek from Peter Ostroushko and Norman Blake’s CD titled Meeting On Southern Soil from Redhouse Records RHR153.  Peter doesn’t really chord behind Norman’s playing.  It’s really a second voice.  The chord changes are my interpretation the chord and change, so feel free to change it around to suit your interpretation.  Norman is big fan of drone strings.  Feel free to add more as you see fit.

I have not found a recording of Muddy Creek that sounds anything like what Norman plays on this recording.  Enjoy!
